TA57-ASH is the reproduction of Hans Wegner Kennedy chair. It is made of solid ash with painting in light natural or walnut. full premium leather seat. Hans J. Wegner was a famous Danish designer. In his lifetime, he designed over 500 different chairs, over 100 of which were put into mass-production, includes Kennedy PP503 chair, wishbone chair.
The PP503 chair, designed in 1949, differs from the PP501 by its upholstered seat. John Kennedy, who suffered back, adopted it for his televised debate with Nixon in 1960, contributing to the celebrity of the chair which was then renamed The Kennedy Chair and joined permanently the White House.
